Did you know that the YMCA created the game of basketball in 1891? Therefore, we felt the theme for our annual fundraiser, "High Heels and High Tops: An Evening of March Madness," would be perfect! We hope you will join our team in this exciting endeavor which will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at the River Forest Country Club in Elmhurst.

The Elmhurst YMCA has been serving Elmhurst and many surrounding communities including Bensenville, Villa Park, Melrose Park, and Addison, for nearly 60 years. In keeping with our mission, we provide services to individuals in the area despite their ability to pay. As a result of generous donations, the YMCA offers financial assistance for summer camp, aquatic classes, before and after school care, senior programs, and teen activities, just to name a few. We are proud to be able to continue the tradition of helping those in need as a result of the generosity of so many people in our community. This year our event will include dinner, live music, a cash raffle, and a Pop-a-Shot tournament as well as live and silent auctions.
